Barbara Stowers, R.D.H., M.S.D.H.

Barbara Stowers has been a practicing hygienist for over 15 years. She is an Associate Professor for the Allied Dental Education Department at NHTI- Concord’s Community College in Concord, New Hampshire. Her areas of teaching responsibilities include, Clinical Dental Hygiene, Periodontics and Ethics and Jurisprudence. In addition, Barbara is a Senior Clinic Coordinator for both 3rd and 4th semester senior students.
Barbara earned her Master of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from The Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at MCPHS University in Boston, Massachusetts. Her degree concentration was dental hygiene education, which afforded her the opportunity to give back and teach at her alma mater, NHTI.
In addition, Barbara was appointed by the Governor to serve as a member of The New Hampshire Board of Dental Examiners Dental Hygienists Committee. She has been published in the Journal of Dental Hygiene and is a proud member of both the American Dental Hygienists Association and the American Dental Education Association.
