Malory Fisher, R.D.H., C.D.A
Malory is an editor and content contributor for AndyRDH’s Dental Hygiene Academy. She attended Danville Community College in 2020 and received her certification in dental assisting. She then went on to dental hygiene school at Virginia Western Community College in 2021 and graduated in May of 2023. She plans to advance her education by obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University, which is currently in progress. With her degree, she wants to work clinically in a periodontal office and later become a clinical coordinator and educator at Danville Community College.
Malory is passionate about improving the dental health profession for the benefit of our patients by optimizing the education of future dental hygienists. Dental Hygiene School has intensified her desire for public health, education, and research. Her devotion to this career path began when she was only fourteen years old and that is thanks to her amazing mother for pushing her dream, her amazing hygienist, and six years of orthodontics with two oral surgeries. The dental field felt like home to her and she wants her patients to get that same experience.
Malory grew up on a farm in Halifax, VA in a Christian home. Her hobbies include cooking, kayaking, gardening, fishing, and anything outdoors. She also has a
fur baby that is her entire world, Willow, who is a Yorkshire Terrier.
